Centene's Washington Subsidiary Selected For Medicaid Contract

ST. LOUIS: Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) announced its Washington subsidiary, Coordinated Care, has been selected by the Washington State Health Care Authority to provide managed care services to Apple Health's Integrated Managed Care (IMC) Medicaid beneficiaries in five Regional Service Areas (RSAs).

The RSAs include King, Pierce, North Sound, Greater Columbia, and North Central Region. These contracts will result in the integration of physical and behavioral health.

In 2017, Coordinated Care was awarded IMC contracts in the North Central RSA and began serving Medicaid beneficiaries in the region January 1, 2018. Today's announcement adds Okanogan County to the North Central Region. Coordinated Care will continue to serve Medicaid beneficiaries throughout the state including serving as the state's sole source plan for all children, youth and young adults in foster care, adoptive services and out-of-home placement until age 26.
